Robert Moses @ Wikipedia

Description:

In the 1930's to 1950's Urban Renewal meant building highways so cars could more easily drive around. It was Robert Moses who drove this effort in New York City, destroying many local neighborhoods and perhaps it is he and is "urban renewal" that is responsible for the destruction of the South Bronx and the departure of the Brooklyn Dodgers.
